  • Firstly, the infertility experts diagnose the exact infertility causes in an individual which is refraining him/her from normal pregnancy

This is the most crucial and primary step of the initialization of the IVF process in any individual. Until and unless the infertility expert knows the cause behind your infertility, he won’t be able to administer the Best IVF Treatment for your condition. So, it is the mandatory step before the IVF treatment is performed on a couple.

  • Once the actual cause is diagnosed, the infertility experts will start the treatment which best suits the person

When the tests are performed, it can be that either the male partner or the female partner who is infertile or in some cases both of them can be infertile due to which attaining pregnancy seems to be difficult.

When the case behind the same is diagnosed, the infertility expert would proceed with the required treatments. In the case of male infertility, a sperm donor may be required and in case of female infertility, a surrogate mother or an egg donor might be required.

  • Ovary stimulation

This is a vital process in IVF treatment. This phase starts from the first day of the commencement of the process. In every woman, only one egg is produced in every ovulation period but when the ovary stimulation process is carried out, certain medications and injections are prescribed to the women to encourage their ovary follicles to produce more eggs which are further used for the process.

  • Egg/sperm retrieval

The mature egg or the sperm from either the fertile partners or the donors are retrieved by the infertility experts to fertilize them in vitro and produce a zygote which can then be transferred to the woman for further facilitation of the childbirth process.

  • Fertilization of the gametes

When the egg or sperm is retrieved successfully, it is fertilized in the clinical labs under expert supervisions until a healthy zygote is formed.

  • Development of the fertilized embryo

After successful fertilization process of the gametes from the parents or the donors, the process of the development of the embryo is carried out until it becomes suitable for transferring back to the fallopian tube or uterus of the woman.

  • Embryo transfer

When the embryo develops fully, it is transferred to the woman’s fallopian tube or uterus so that the further childbirth process can be carried out inside her womb.

  • Final Blood tests and a pregnancy test thereafter

After almost two weeks the woman needs to perform some specific blood tests to get knowledge of the hormone levels in her body and thereby take the help of her fertility expert to determine and confirm pregnancy.

The rest of the process is almost similar to natural pregnancy; it’s just that you need to be extra cautious during the time and keep consulting your IVF specialist from time to time to get the best guidance and have a healthy delivery of the child.
